Geese appeared on the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to perform tracks from their new album Getting Killed, including “100 Horses” and “Cobra.” Additionally, they delivered a fresh, artistic rendition of the 1990s hit “You Get What You Give” by New Radicals.
Following the album launch, Geese performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and released a music video for “Au Pays du Cocaine.” They are currently touring North America in support of Getting Killed, which follows their 2023 album 3D Country.
“Geese must truly be the coolest new band since The White Stripes, because my phone ain’t blown up like this since New Radicals announced reforming for just one day for the 2021 Presidential Inauguration. I was confused at first by the dozens of texts about ‘Geese performing live’ on BBC ONE and taking ‘You Get What You Give’ to artistic new heights.”
After hearing Geese’s song “Taxes,” it became clear that they are not only one of the coolest bands in years but also among the best.
Walden Green reviewed the debut solo album Heavy Metal by Geese’s frontman Cameron Winter, highlighting the artist’s expanding creative scope.
Summary: Geese’s rendition of “You Get What You Give” and their new album Getting Killed showcase a band rapidly defining themselves as one of the most exciting acts in contemporary music.
