Context and Public Message

The disruptions coincide with rising concerns over disorder during Edinburgh's Bonfire Night, which has seen widespread chaos and service interruptions in previous years.

Earlier, Lothian Buses urged the public to maintain respect for their services, posting on social media:

“At Lothian, we’re proud to serve our communities across Edinburgh and the Lothians.”

Summary

Anti-social behaviour around Bonfire Night has forced Lothian Buses to divert key routes, impacting residents in both Edinburgh and West Lothian. The company appeals for respect to maintain safe and reliable service.
