British actress Helen Mirren, a three-time Golden Globe winner, will be honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award by the Los Angeles-based voting group on January 8, 2026.
“A force of nature” whose “transcendent performances and commitment to her craft continue to inspire generations of artists and audiences alike,” said Golden Globes president Helen Hoehne.
Established in 1952, this prestigious award honors lifetime achievement in film and has been given to luminaries such as Audrey Hepburn, Sidney Poitier, Judy Garland, Elizabeth Taylor, Robert Redford, and Barbra Streisand.
The award will be presented during the new annual primetime special, Golden Eve, which also honors recipients of the Carol Burnett Award.
