Flinders Port Holdings (FPH) debuts a custom-built float celebrating maritime trade at the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant in Adelaide, emphasizing its critical role in bringing festive joy to South Australians.
The National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant will begin at 9:30 AM on Saturday, 8 November, marked by the golden whistle signaling the start. Since 1933, this pageant has been the traditional kick-off to the Christmas season in South Australia, attracting thousands of spectators lining the city streets each year.
FPH announced on social media that they are “thrilled to finally unveil our FPH float.” The float highlights the essential contribution of maritime trade to the festive season and gift-giving in South Australia.
“Our float is particularly special—it's the first custom-built float to join the pageant in five years, proudly featuring a replica of one of our Pilot boats, alongside a crew of straddle carriers, containers, and FPH elves ticking off Christmas gifts.”
The float includes a blue fabric ruffle beneath it, creating the illusion of the Pilot Boat smoothly gliding through water.
Earlier this week, FPH officially launched the float at Outer Harbor, with some of their FPH elves joining in the festivities.
Summary: Flinders Port Holdings celebrates maritime trade's role in South Australia's festive season with a uniquely crafted float debuting at the 2025 Christmas Pageant in Adelaide.
