Netflix has released the opening five minutes of the final season of Stranger Things, teasing a dramatic showdown between Hawkins and Vecna.
The scene features a young Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) trapped again in the Upside Down, where he was sent during Season 1. He is pursued and eventually captured by Vecna, who ominously says:
“At long last, we can begin. You and I, we are going to do such beautiful things together, William. Such beautiful things.”
This unsettling moment reveals what truly happened to Will during his time trapped and hints that he remains affected by Vecna’s influence.
The season is split into two volumes, with the first four episodes in November and three more in December before the grand finale.
The newly released opening scene teases a gripping final season of Stranger Things focused on Will's lingering trauma and the ultimate battle against Vecna.
