The former Fox News host sharply criticized the GOP following widespread election defeats, describing Tuesday’s results as a “total and complete disaster.”
Tuesday’s election outcomes were widely seen as a rebuke of President Donald Trump’s administration, which sparked a strong response from Megyn Kelly. She spent much of Wednesday’s SiriusXM radio show episode addressing the GOP’s failures across the country.
“How are you feeling this morning ― like shit? Yeah, I can relate,” she said. “The Republican party needs to get its shit together ASAP ... They enjoy when they are embattled and in a losing position and complaining ― they love it. They do it really well.”
Kelly further remarked on the party’s struggles:
“Donald Trump is strong. Republicans don’t know how to win. They don’t know who to run, they don’t know what to do when Daddy’s not there to fly them across the finish line.”
The 2025 elections served as the first significant test of Trump’s second term, with results mostly unfavorable for the GOP.
These outcomes have led to concern among high-profile Republicans, including Texas senators.
Megyn Kelly delivers a scathing critique of the Republican Party's electoral failures, urging urgent reform to overcome their chronic missteps under Trump’s leadership.
