The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) will increase its presence on Berkeley County waterways through a new collaboration with Berkeley County Government. This effort focuses on the upcoming mega boat landing on Lake Moultrie.
The landing, situated at 933 Broughton Road in Moncks Corner, will feature a permanent BCSO Marine Unit station. This station aims to strengthen law enforcement and boost emergency response efficiency on the water.
“With this new landing, we are enhancing our ability to patrol and safeguard Lake Moultrie,” said Berkeley County Sheriff Duane Lewis. “Our Marine Unit will provide immediate response to water emergencies and maintain a visible presence to ensure the safety and security of all who enjoy the lake.”
