Raytheon, an RTX business, successfully test-fired its new Ground-Launched StormBreaker at a private test range in the Mojave Desert in March.
The test was revealed in a statement on 24 September, with a video available on the RTX website. Jon Norman, vice-president of requirements and capabilities for Air & Space Defense Systems at Raytheon, discussed the development process, stating that it was completed in 50 days using Internal Research and Development (IRAD) funds.
