Hayley Williams has released the complete 20-track physical edition of her third solo album, Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, marking her first major independent project after more than two decades with Atlantic Records.
The album, now available in stores worldwide, includes two songs released physically for the first time: “Good Ol’ Days” and “Showbiz.” This edition highlights Williams’ shift toward artistic independence, signaling a new chapter in her post-major label career.
Initially launched in mid-2025, the project took an unorthodox approach. Rather than dropping as a traditional album, Williams released 17 individual singles without warning. Fans were encouraged to arrange them in their own sequences, effectively shaping the album’s story.
“Fans embraced the puzzle, sequencing their own album orders and even creating a website to exchange tracklists,” the release notes.
Weeks later, the tracks were unified into an 18-song digital album featuring “Parachute,” which has since attracted more than 130 million streams globally. The new 20-track physical release now completes that journey.
This launch closes a major chapter in Williams’ career, ending her long-standing relationship with Atlantic Records, a partnership that began when she was a teenager. With Paramore becoming fully independent in late 2023, this moment encapsulates her full creative evolution as a solo artist.
Author’s Summary: Hayley Williams’ 20-track physical edition of Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party symbolizes her definitive break from major labels and her creative rebirth as an independent artist.
