Rico Nasty invited Hayley Williams as a surprise guest during her show at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles last night. The Paramore singer and rapper performed together on stage, delivering a vibrant rendition of Rico's 2020 track “Smack a Bitch” from her debut album Nightmare Vacation.
After singing and dancing, the two artists shared a warm embrace as the audience cheered loudly. Rico excitedly told the crowd,
“You guys had no idea!”
while Williams waved goodbye to the fans.
This show marked the final date of Rico’s Lethal North American tour that began in September with a performance at Riot Fest. The tour promoted her latest album, Lethal, released in May. It is her third full-length album and the first under the label Fueled by Ramen.
Rico and Hayley had shared the stage before in 2023 when Rico appeared during Paramore’s headlining gig at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles to perform “Misery Business.” Reflecting on that moment, Rico told Billboard,
“It was an amazing experience. And it felt like, I don’t know, my inner child really jumped out. And I hadn’t seen her in a while. Like I hadn’t seen her in a while on stage. I hadn’t seen her in a while backstage, like amongst the team like that. So I was like, ‘Wow, like this feels nice.’ And then I got to talk to Hayley.”
Hayley Williams surprised fans by joining Rico Nasty at a Los Angeles concert to perform together, highlighting the strong creative bond between the artists during Rico’s Lethal tour finale.
