International management consulting firm CYLAD has expanded by opening a new office in Austria, marking its tenth global location. Headquartered in Paris, CYLAD employs over 150 consultants across offices in France, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, Sydney, and now Austria.
Thomas Trautmann, a partner at CYLAD, explained that this move responds to rising demand from Austrian clients. Additionally, the Vienna office aims to extend the firm's reach into Eastern Europe, leveraging Vienna's advantageous location.
“The opening of our Austrian office reinforces our international presence and strategically positions us in the region – unlocking access to new markets and opportunities. Vienna’s geographic advantage will allow us to grow in the Central & Eastern European markets focusing on manufacturing, machinery and energy clients.”
Daniel Mader, formerly at Oliver Wyman, has been appointed partner and will lead the Vienna office as CYLAD’s 19th partner. With over 18 years of experience in consulting and industry, Mader specializes in the energy and process sectors.
Prior to Oliver Wyman, Mader worked with Strategy& and Kearney. Since 2018, he has advised industrial clients on strategy development, performance transformation, and operational improvements in industries including oil & gas, chemicals, utilities, and consumer goods.
CYLAD's new Vienna office strengthens its international footprint and unlocks growth in Central and Eastern European markets, supported by seasoned leadership focused on industrial sectors.
