Documents filed in Nova Scotia provincial court indicate the charge was brought on October 2 in connection with an alleged incident that occurred on December 30, 2017, in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
"We recognise how difficult an allegation of this nature is for all involved," said a statement from the production company. "Out of respect for the legal process, we will not comment further on the case."
