Mike Smith, the actor best known for portraying Bubbles on the comedy series Trailer Park Boys, has been charged with sexual assault in Nova Scotia.
According to the Nova Scotia Public Prosecution Service, Smith is scheduled for arraignment in November. Court records indicate the alleged incident occurred on December 30, 2017, in or near Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
The documents further note that Smith must not contact the complainant or visit her home, workplace, or educational institution. He signed a formal undertaking to that effect in October.
