Drama: One Day in Boyle

Written and directed by Ciaran Creagh, this drama is set in Boyle, County Roscommon, and tells the story of one day in the life of a 15-year-old girl in a small Irish town. Though fictional, it draws heavily from the true story of Ann Lovett, who died on January 31, 1984, hours after giving birth to her stillborn son near a church in Granard, County Longford. Zara Devlin stars in the lead role.

Girlbands Forever, BBC Two, 9:00 pm

The final episode explores the journeys of talent show winners Little Mix as they navigate social media pressures. The series also covers the changing line-ups of the Sugababes and the return of familiar members.
