Boston Bruins defenseman Nikita Zadorov demonstrated his trademark toughness in the November 8 game versus the Toronto Maple Leafs. A key reason the Bruins acquired Zadorov in the 2024 NHL off-season was his physical style of play.
In the second period, Zadorov delivered a huge hit along the boards that took down Maple Leafs forward Scott Laughton.
Following the hit, Zadorov dropped the gloves with Toronto forward Bobby McMann. Both players showed resilience, but Zadorov clearly gained the upper hand, landing several strong punches before the fight was broken up.
There is no question that Zadorov thrives with the physical side of the game, and he certainly showed this with his hit on Laughton and then fight against McMann.
Zadorov’s physical presence is exactly what the Bruins need as the season advances.
