Praying the Rosary in October
Pope Leo XIV has invited Catholics worldwide to pray the rosary every day in October for peace, either personally, with their families, or in their communities.
"I invite everyone to pray the rosary every day during the coming month – for peace – personally, with your families, and in your communities,"
October is designated as the Month of the Holy Rosary on the Catholic Church's Roman calendar, with the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary on October 7. Traditionally, Catholics pray the rosary all 31 days of the month.
- 22 percent of white Catholics pray the rosary at least monthly, according to a 2025 Pew Research Center survey.
- 37 percent of Hispanic Catholics pray the rosary at least monthly, based on the same survey.
