West Coast Eagles Announce Four-Year Sponsorship with Allianz Australia
The West Coast Eagles have secured a four-year Platinum Partner deal with Allianz Australia, supporting their AFL, AFLW, and Wheelchair football teams. This marks Allianz's first major sports partnership in Western Australia as part of its nationwide community program efforts.
Club and Sponsor Collaboration
West Coast Eagles CEO Don Pyke highlighted the synergy between the club's values and Allianz’s community focus:
“Allianz Australia has a proven track record of resilience and performance, and an outstanding community focus which aligns with our club’s values and identity.”
He added that Allianz’s support would boost the football programs and contribute to wider community initiatives.
Branding and Partnership Details
- Allianz's branding will feature on Eagles’ AFL guernseys neckline, training gear, media backdrops, and in-game displays at Optus Stadium.
- From 2026, Allianz will sponsor the AFLW side’s shorts and become a major partner for the Wheelchair football team.
Community Initiative Launch
The partnership will kickoff with a joint initiative supporting Foodbank WA’s Give a Feed appeal, delivering Christmas food hampers to local families in need. Allianz will sponsor 1,000 hampers while Eagles players and staff will volunteer in the deliveries ahead of Christmas.
“Allianz has a long history of supporting sport and promoting the power of sport in uniting communities,” said managing director Richard Feledy.
