NASCAR Xfinity Qualifying Today
Just four weekends remain in the 2025 NASCAR schedule in both the Cup Series and the Xfinity Series. The Xfinity Series was first up on a busy day of racing on Saturday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The day started with practice and qualifying early in the afternoon, featuring the No. 17 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet and driver Corey Day. Day turned in a 19th-place qualifying effort with a time of 30.813 seconds.
Prior to qualifying, Day had the sixth-best practice time with a lap of 30.618 seconds, which was the best among all drivers in the first group.
This will be Day's second national-series start at Las Vegas and his first since making a CRAFTSMAN Truck Series start at the 1.5-mile tri-oval in March. Saturday night's Xfinity Series race is set for a 7:30 start.
