China Criticizes US Over "Double Standards"
China accused the US of "double standards" after President Donald Trump announced a new 100% tariff on Chinese goods.
"The relevant US statement is a typical example of 'double standards',"
a Chinese Ministry of Commerce spokesperson said. The tariff is a response to China's new export restrictions on rare-earth minerals, which Trump called "extraordinarily aggressive".
