Strong Earthquake Hits Hokkaido
A strong earthquake struck eastern areas of Hokkaido Prefecture on Saturday, prompting authorities to urge vigilance.
The quake had an estimated magnitude of 5.8 and measured a lower 5 on the Japanese seismic intensity scale in the city of Nemuro.
