Namibia Stuns South Africa in T20 International
Namibia achieved a surprise win over South Africa in a one-off Twenty20 international on Saturday, thanks to a late hitting burst by wicketkeeper Zane Green.
Green, who finished with 30 not out, scored 23 of the 26 runs Namibia made in the last two overs. He hit 6 runs off the first ball of the last over and sealed the win with a boundary to midwicket off the last ball.
The match marked the inauguration of the Namibia Cricket Ground, a venue for the 2027 Cricket World Cup in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
