Shooting at Bar in St. Helena Island, South Carolina
A shooting occurred at Willie’s Bar and Grill on St. Helena Island, South Carolina, resulting in at least four deaths and 20 injuries.
The incident happened around 1 a.m. at the bar, located about an hour north of Savannah, Ga. According to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office, when deputies arrived, they found a large crowd with several people suffering from gunshot wounds.
"It was learned that hundreds of people were at the location when the shooting occurred. Multiple victims and witnesses ran to the nearby businesses and properties seeking shelter from the gun shots,"
said the sheriff's office. Four people were pronounced dead at the scene.
