Yorgos Lanthimos Takes a Break from Filmmaking
Yorgos Lanthimos, a 5x Oscar nominee, is set to release his latest film, Bugonia, on October 31, starring Emma Stone.
After releasing award-worthy films for three consecutive years, Lanthimos feels he needs "a little break".
“Well, I can’t keep doing that anymore. [Laughs] That’s what we!re certain of right now,”
He expressed his intention to take a break, saying:
“It’s a big mistake. I’ve said that before in between the other three, but I’m serious now. I’m going to take a little break. Hold me to it”
