SWISS' New A350: First Class Suites, Short-Haul Flights, and Fleet Renewal

SWISS unveils its first Airbus A350 with luxurious first class suites, initially flying short-haul routes before launching long-haul services to Boston and Montreal.

The fuel-efficient A350s will gradually replace the airline's aging A340s as part of a major fleet renewal. The airline’s new A350 can accommodate around 242 passengers across four cabins.

The A350 features SWISS’ new SWISS Senses cabin, the airline’s next-generation inflight experience for long-haul travel, which it unveiled in March 2023.

SWISS Senses is the Swiss-branded version of Lufthansa’s Allegris cabin design, adapted to match the airline’s own design identity.

This reflects Lufthansa Group’s broader strategy to align premium cabin standards across its member airlines.
