Three people have been arrested after police found a firearm and two knives in a car on the A44.
In the early hours of October 12, the Cotswold Neighbouring Policing team were on a routine patrol near Stow-on-the-Wold when they observed a vehicle behaving unusually.
The vehicle came to a sudden stop and activated its hazard lights, prompting concerns that it had broken down. Upon investigation, officers found an air rifle in the passenger footwell and two knives after conducting a search.
The driver stated that they and the two passengers were out attempting to shoot pheasants.
A total of three people were arrested following the discovery.
