According to The Shillong Times, Arpit Bhatewara achieved a double century for Meghalaya against Sikkim in the Ranji Trophy 2025-26 plate group match.
Bhatewara batted the entire Meghalaya innings, scoring exactly 200, including 25 fours, before being the last man out. Meghalaya were all out for 405, taking a first innings lead of 59 over Sikkim, who made 346.
At stumps, Sikkim were 96/2 in their second innings, leading by 37. A draw seems likely unless Meghalaya can take wickets on the last day.
Although there is still scope for a winner, a draw seems increasingly likely unless Meghalaya can rip through Sikkim’s line-up on the last day tomorrow.
