Windstar Cruises' New Ship to be Christened on the Thames
Windstar Cruises will celebrate the christening of Star Explorer in London, marking the first cruise ship to be christened in the city in over 20 years.
The vessel, accommodating 224 guests, will be christened at London's Tower Bridge on 31 May 2027, followed by a circumnavigation of Ireland.
Year-round European voyages are now open for booking, with the first full season running through March 2028, featuring classic journeys and new itineraries, including:
- Circumnavigating Ireland
- The Seven Gems of the Baltic
Windstar has a long history of exploring in the Mediterranean and Europe, and the small size of this ship opens even more interesting places – including rivers
