10 Dynasty Takeaways from 2025: Third Base

The hot corner was a hot dynasty topic in 2025. At this point, there should be little debate that baseball’s most valuable position player is the shortstop, followed by catcher, but a closer third than you would think is the third baseman.

We all know the tendencies of a valuable fielding third baseman, but when it comes to fantasy, the different options are as unique as can be. Eugenio Suárez and Rafael Devers are very different players from Maikel Garcia and Ernie Clement, but all four were similarly valuable fantasy third basemen in 2025.

To really move on to 2026, managers first need to digest what happened in 2025. Here are some of my key takeaways from this past season and how they may impact the winter’s approach.

Author's summary: José Ramírez stands out as S-Tier.
