Developing County: Randall's Cafe and a Snooty Cat
According to the Preston Citizen, Randall's Cafe opened in the spring of 1945, located in the building formerly occupied by Clint's Cafe.
The cafe was managed by Max Randall and his sister, Wanda Heilig, who had considerable experience in the food business working in Oregon.
Their aim was to satisfy their patrons with entertainment and food preparation.
- The Blue Room of Clint's Cafe continued to be open for banquets, clubs, and private parties by making reservations.
- A shift in management occurred in August 1946, when J. took over.
