Plane Crash Northwest of Fort Worth
A plane crash occurred near Hicks Airfield in Tarrant County, just off Business 287, around 1:30 p.m.
The Fort Worth Fire Department confirmed the crash and reported that two victims were found deceased.
- Multiple semi-trucks caught fire as a result of the crash.
- Small grass fires also sparked, but were quickly contained by officials.
The FAA and NTSB are on the scene to assist in the investigation.
Business 287 is currently shut down for both north and southbound traffic, and motorists are advised to use an alternative route and avoid the area.
No official statement has been made on the cause of the crash.
