The animated TV series "Avatar: The Last Airbender" is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a two-hour live orchestral performance at Popejoy Hall.
The show features a live orchestra performing the music of Emmy Award-winning composer Jeremy Zuckerman, paired with highlights and favorite moments from all three seasons, projected on a full-sized cinema screen.
Heidi Joosten, the orchestra's associate conductor, has experience working in musical theater and conducting live-to-picture events, including the "Spider-Man into the Spider-verse" tour.
