New Approach to Investigating Underperforming Social Landlords
The Housing Ombudsman has introduced a new system to address underperforming social landlords, focusing on early intervention and increased accountability.
Under the new approach, landlords that perform poorly on key measures will face analysis of their casework and be required to submit a response plan. If "serious concerns" arise, the situation may escalate to a full investigation.
