Samsung Electronics has unveiled plans to build an AI factory using over 50,000 GPUs from Nvidia across its production system.
The goal is to speed up the development and production of next-generation chips and mobile devices through a company-wide digital transformation using AI-enabled manufacturing.
The facility would integrate “every aspect of semiconductor manufacturing, from design and process to equipment, operations and quality control, into a single intelligent network”.
The partnership aims to set “the foundation of next-generation, AI-driven production” by combining the companies’ respective chip expertise.
