India to Host Major Maritime Events in 2026
India will host three major international maritime events in February 2026 at Visakhapatnam, including the International Fleet Review (IFR) 2026, Exercise MILAN 2026, and Indian Ocean Naval Symposium (IONS) Conclave of Chiefs.
These events, scheduled to take place from February 15-25, mark India's first simultaneous conduct of these major maritime events.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's MAHASAGAR vision (Mutual and Holistic Advancement for Security and Growth Across Regions), announced in 2025, will be realized through this event.
The Navy's Eastern Command is preparing for this unprecedented maritime assembly.
