Alan Carr Flees to US Ahead of Celebrity Traitors Final

Comedian Alan Carr, 49, revealed he has escaped to the US before the final of the BBC reality show Celebrity Traitors, where he is one of the last two Traitors alongside singer Cat Burns, 25.

Known for his sharp one-liners and cheerful personality, Carr joked that he has become “the most hated man in the UK” and traveled to Orlando, Florida, with his nephew and niece to avoid the intense public scrutiny.

“I'm the most hated man in the UK, I've had to come here to Orlando to get away from it. Everyone hates me!” Carr said during a chat with Heart radio hosts Olly Murs and Mark Wright.

He added that the stress of the show is taking a toll, as he humorously remarked, “I just needed to get away because it's stressful murdering every day. My Christmas card list is getting smaller and smaller.”

Murs suggested that Carr could dress as a Traitor while visiting Universal Studios, pointing out he might find a Traitors-style cape at Harry Potter World. Carr responded jokingly that he intended to enjoy a break and even ride the famous water slide at Universal’s Volcano Bay wearing the cape and carrying a Traitors lantern.

“I've come here for a break!” Carr joked.

Additional Context

Carr also recently mentioned that his close friend Paloma Faith is “not happy” with his behaviour on the show.
