Elden Ring: Nightreign DLC Announced
The latest major expansion for Elden Ring, titled The Forsaken Hollows, was revealed during Sony's State of Play livestream. The DLC is scheduled for release on December 4th.
Returning and New Bosses
The trailer showcases familiar characters along with new bosses. Notably, Artorias from Dark Souls makes a highly anticipated return. Other bosses include the Dancing Lion from the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion and a field boss version of the Gladius Nightlord.
New Playable Characters
- Scholar: An academic with strong arcane abilities who "gains incredible advantages through battlefield observation."
- Undertaker: An abbess skilled in strength and faith who "sends enemies to the afterlife with ruthless efficiency."
The Great Hollow Event
A new Shifting Earth event called The Great Hollow features exotic temples, ancient ruins, and crystals that emit a cursed, life-draining miasma. The setting resembles the Ancient Ruins of Rauh from the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
