Elon University’s Summer Business Institute is a 10-week program based in Charlotte that enables students to earn a Business Administration minor through AI-enhanced coursework and hands-on professional experiences. Applications are now open, with an Early Decision deadline of December 15.
The Martha and Spencer Love School of Business created this immersive summer program to help Elon students complete a Business Administration minor in just one summer. Participants take core business courses incorporating AI tools, case studies, and applied learning to gain practical skills in accounting, marketing, management, and finance.
In addition to the summer curriculum, students must complete a foundational economics course either before or after attending the program to fulfill the minor requirements.
This program is especially suited for students pursuing non-business majors or business students early in their academic careers.
“We are excited about the Summer Business Institute because it gives students from any discipline the chance to build a strong foundation in business while learning alongside industry partners in a vibrant city environment,” said Mark Kurt, associate dean of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business.
“This program reflects our commitment to preparing students to understand how business, technology and community intersect in practice.”
Summary: Elon University’s Summer Business Institute offers a 10-week, AI-integrated program in Charlotte, providing students from all disciplines an efficient path to earn a Business Administration minor through practical, industry-connected learning.
