Explosion at Tennessee Explosives Plant
A large explosion occurred at an explosives-manufacturing plant in rural Tennessee on Friday morning, leaving 18 people missing and feared dead.
The blast happened at Accurate Energetic Systems in Bucksnort, Tennessee, around 7:45 a.m. local time, leveling the plant and leaving behind a mass of twisted metal and burned-out cars.
The sheriff described it as one of the most devastating scenes he’s ever seen, referring to the missing individuals as "souls."
