Arsonist Cody Balmer Pleads Guilty
Cody Balmer, the 38-year-old suspected arsonist, has pleaded guilty to all charges against him, including attempted murder and terrorism.
He appeared in person at the Dauphin County Courthouse in Harrisburg, where he pleaded guilty to:
- Attempted murder of Gov. Shapiro
- Aggravated arson
- Burglary
- Over 20 counts of arson
Balmer was sentenced to 25-50 years behind bars and won't be eligible for parole until April 13, 2050.
