Windows 10 has reached its End of Life on October 14, 2025, but users can extend its lifespan with the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program.

The ESU program allows users to continue receiving updates, and it is available for $30. To enroll, users can click "Enroll now" on the Windows Update page and link their Microsoft account, syncing Settings to OneDrive.

According to Microsoft, users in the EU only need a Microsoft account for free Windows 10 ESU, while users outside the region also need to sync Settings to OneDrive. In the US, users can also use Microsoft Rewards points (1,000) to sign up for Windows 10 ESU.
