London Mother Found Guilty of Killing Three-Month-Old Daughter
Nazli Merthoca, 24, was found guilty of manslaughter after her three-month-old daughter, Kaylani Kalanzi, died from catastrophic brain injuries and other severe injuries.
Kaylani died at Great Ormond Street Hospital in July 2024, having suffered a broken leg and fractured ribs, with evidence showing she was violently shaken.
- Nazli Merthoca was cleared of murder but found guilty of manslaughter by a jury at the Old Bailey.
- She will be sentenced on December 15 at the Old Bailey.
