Girls Tennis: Osakis Sends Three to Class A State Individual Tournament
The Osakis girls tennis team will send three athletes to the Class A state individual tennis tournament.
Leah Maddock will represent the Silverstreaks in the singles bracket at state after claiming the Section 6A individual singles championship.
- Maddock defeated Minnewaska Area’s Olivia Danielson in a straight-set sweep, winning the semifinal match 6-0, 6-0.
- She bested New London-Spicer’s Brooke Glauvitz to win the section title 6-0, 6-1.
Osakis doubles team of Bella Weisser and Ava Drevlow finished in second place in the section doubles bracket to qualify.
