Temple Emanuel, a synagogue in Pueblo, has been a testament to the local Jewish community's resilience for 125 years.
The congregation believes strongly that the temple is not only the synagogue for the Jewish community, but it also belongs to the citizens of Pueblo.
The temple, known as the "Little Jewelbox", features a stunning Star of David in a stained glass window and is home to three Torahs, each with its own story. The smallest one, covered in red velvet, is approximately 300 years old and originated from Romania.
The congregation recently celebrated Simchat Torah with songs and dance, marking the cycle of Torah readings.
