A Rochester man has been arrested for allegedly driving while under the influence, resulting in the death of two people from Nappanee.

The man, from 12th St., Rochester, is charged with two counts of driving while suspended resulting in death, both level 5 felonies, and two counts of causing death when operating a vehicle with a schedule I or II drug in their system, both level 4 felonies.

On June 30, Marshall County Dispatch received a report of a personal injury crash on Eighth Road and Apple Road, Bourbon, involving a vehicle and a horse-drawn carriage. Responding units were advised that life-saving measures were being provided to those on scene.
