An incarcerated UK drill rapper, Broadday, and another inmate have been charged with the murder of Ian Watkins, a convicted child sex offender.
Rashid (Rico) Gedel, 25, aka 'Broadday', and Samuel Dodsworth, 43, were formally charged with the murder of 48-year-old Watkins after a violent assault at HMP Wakefield prison on October 11.
Watkins was pronounced dead at the scene before medical teams could respond.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed: "Detectives have charged two men with murder after the death of a prisoner at HMP Wakefield on Saturday.
