A 28-year-old Longford man, Dylan Conaghy, with 76 previous convictions, has been charged with multiple road traffic offences.
Conaghy was found to be under the influence of cocaine, opioids, and methamphetamine when he caused a road collision.
According to Garda Ryan, the collision occurred on May 28th last year on the M2 at Baltrasna, Ashbourne.
The injured party reported she was driving to her sister's house when she felt a collision, lost control of the vehicle, and spun into a grass verge, requiring fire brigade assistance to exit the vehicle.
Conaghy was questioned by Gardai at the scene and provided a false name, claiming to be Dylan Mulready.
