The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) encourages families to spend time outdoors during the MEA break in October.
The DNR's list includes activities such as finding fall color, having a campfire, watching wildlife, and hunting on public land.
Even if leaves have fallen in some parts of the state, a hike through the crunchy leaves on the forest floor can also be fun!
