Englert Theatre Announces Interim Executive Director
Following a year of programming changes, the Englert Theatre has announced new leadership after the departure of its executive director, John Schickedanz.
Schickedanz is resigning "to pursue other opportunities," according to a news release. He initially served as the interim director in 2021 and secured the position in June 2022.
The Board of Directors has named events director Keegan Colletta Huckfeldt as the interim executive director, effective Thursday, Oct.

This change comes after a year of significant changes for the Englert Theatre, including the final year of producing the Mission Creek Festival and the launch of the Iowa City Songwriters Festival (ICSF).
