DiZoglio Rallies for Legislative Audit
State Auditor Diana DiZoglio held a rally at the State House to pressure the Legislature into complying with the audit passed by voters last year.
In 2024, 71.6% of voters supported auditing the state Legislature, but nearly a year later, the audit has yet to be conducted, according to DiZoglio.
- Approximately 60 people attended the rally, including many Republican state representatives.
- State Committeewoman Kathy Lynch led a chant of "audit, audit, audit" on the steps of the State House.
The rally brought "the most liberal of Massachusetts voters together with the most conservative … to stand up to the Beacon Hill bullies and to say, 'Enough is enough."
