KTVT Unveils AR/VR Studio For Its North Texas Newscasts
The CBS News & Stations property, branded as "CBS News Texas", has introduced its first local newscast using virtual reality and augmented reality technology.
KTVT-11 debuted the AR/VR-enhanced local newscasts on October 14, with anchor Karen Borta and meteorologist Brittany Rainey utilizing the technology to deliver updates and forecasts.
The technology has already been tested in other markets, including San Francisco.
